A great venue for the family. It's a bit challenging to communicate with the waiters. But the food is great and you can just point at the pictures. Love it

love this place! nice dim sum, good food. cons: too many people

Very busy on weekends. Serviceable dim sum, but there are less crazy places out there.

This is my family’s favorite dim sum place. We have been coming here since it first opened. The food is delicious and satisfies our craving for dim sum. The staff are always on top of their game and willing to go above and beyond their call of duty. I always feel welcomed here. I also like how this place is a little further up and not in downtown Flushing. Although they have a valet parking lot, it is not that hard to found parking on the street.

The service is good. Food tastes good too. I attended several events there, and all were successful and delicious. However I felt thirsty every time we dined there. I think that was because of MSG.

Went to this place for dimsum yesterday. Drove past many time and finally tried it. The dimsum was fresh and there were plenty of choices. I was just with my mom so we couldn't get many dishes. I will go back.

Food was good today. Was happy about it.

Looks can sure be deceiving this place looks so quiet and quaint on the outside but it was very busy. The food however, was amazing. Their roast duck was one of the best I've ever had in this area and the hubby enjoyed their soup dumplings to the fullest. Definitely recommend.

Too pricey for the food, bad customer service

Over-crowded, mediocre food, not really worth the cost of what is offered.Plenty of staff and food carts so no one needed to leave their seats to get platters or drinks which is a step up from the dim sum place on Kissena Blvd where there are few servers and fewer carts going around the floor.

We get dim sum from here all the time and that is good. We had dinner last night and everything was cooked fine but very under seasoned (tasted bland). We had dinner here a few years ago and no complaints but maybe different chef now? Go for dim sum, skip dinner

Tasty and large variety of dim sum dishes. Gets really busy so get to go at 11 or 2.anything in between requires a 20+ Min wait

Good place for dim sum. Expect to wait to be seated even on weekdays. Valet parking on site. Hard to find street parking.

I have been coming here for years and it is been consistently delicious. The wait can be long on the weekend but the host works as quickly as he can

Great dim sum - lots of variety and great quality

Our banquet experience was not an enjoyable eating experience. The servers would bring out a dish and it would barely make it around the table a single time before the servers wanted to put the next dish down. The servers took plates away which were still loaded with food.

Love this dim sum place. They also carry breakfast.

The food came out in a timely manner although it was decent at best. The price compared to other places were relatively inexpensive however the food isn't exactly real Chinese food. Pass on the Peking duck as the duck had no meat and was drier than a bone in the desert. All in all I'd go somewhere else.

Good and authentic Cantonese food. They have a big parking and the service is good. Not in the busiest part of flushing.

I am not sure how to rate this place yet. I might need to go there more often. But the dimsum we just had was good.

I went here for dinner one evening. I’m surprised how clean and tidy the place was. Everything was served with professional attention. I felt I was dining at a fine restaurant, it didn’t feel like a typical Chinese restaurant. Food was delicious. The most I ate in the week. Great place to eat if you want expensive Cantonese food.

I told my friends about this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the cooking is tasty and the crew is efficient and cooperative. Every time we visit this place we have a pleasant evening. I recommend this place with pleasure.

They offer a fantastic range of fresh food. I loved dining here. The employees are always very welcoming, pricing is fair and the spot is always kept clean.

Went here for Dim Sum this past Saturday. The wait wasn’t too long even though it was super busy. The food was fresh and the variety was awesome. Service is not this place’s strong suit but they make up for it with the quality and freshness of the food. This place is good for big groups and a nice place to have up your sleeve if you are looking for Hong Kong style dim sum.

Nice, clean and good food! This is my 5th time coming here for dinner and most important is easy parking.
Cora Wu
Delicious dimsum (Chinese brunch tapas style), way better than anything you will find in Manhattan's Chinatown. If you come enough, you'll notice they rotate in new dishes all the time!

Great place to eat dim sum with family or for a family gathering. Alot to choose from

New Lake Pavilion is one of my auntie’s favorite dim sum place in Flushing. The decor here is super exaggerated and it is also a perfect place for Chinese holding their wedding ceremony. They served dim sum every day before 3pm and Cantonese cuisines all day. They had a wide variety of dim sum served by cart and most of their dim sum were delicious and authentic. Our favorites were steamed spare ribs and salted egg custard buns. The ribs were well cooked, chewy and tasty flavored with braised taro. The salted egg custard buns were a must try and super addictive. Their service was also authentic - super rude and reluctant but kind. They have their parking lot but it was always crowded and impossible to find a place.

Staple Dim-Sum spot that turns into a traditional Chinese restaurant afterwards. The setting is family style roundtable dining. They also host events here. Last time I came here there was a wedding party. Only reason I would not give a 5-star rating is due to the language barrier that both the staff and the customers have to work around. I'm fully aware this is a Chinese establishment, but there were times we would not get what we ordered or something would be lost in translation.

If you’re over the age of 70, You might not make it to your table before dying of old age. One of the only restaurants you’ll spend more time waiting For a table than actually eating. The inefficient operations at the front is not acceptable and ridiculous.

It is very hectic in here, but the food is delicious. The waitresses definitely pressure you into eating whatever they are selling, but it is all part of the dim sum experience. I especially enjoy the rolled up cake thing for dessert. There is usually a wait to get seated.

Food is decent, bad service when restaurant is busy, some meals taste rushed.

Decorations are a little tacky but sort of pretty as it is all put together. We ordered 7 dishes and a soup and the 8 if us finished all of the food. Fried flounder, Mayo shrimp with fried milk, snow pea roots, garlic chicken, peking duck, Peking pork chops and winter melon soup, all yummy. Reasonably priced as well. Will definitely go back

I liked this restaurant a lot. First, the location is great, no need to drive all the way into Flushing. Second, the food is great, a lot of people came here for dimsum.
Alexander Lo
Better than average, plenty of parking spaces.
Kelvin DePena
Good yum cha with a good group of servers and chefs. The bald guy that directs the seating traffic like an NFL QB is a STUD! he is always there full of energy and never in a bad mood. He’s always there!!! No sick days unreal. Get there early before, 11am or after 1pm to void the sea of humanity that loves this place. The free Valet parking is nice... I tip a five spot which they like...
Darcy G
It's a traditional dim sum with large variety and good food

Love this place. Their food is delicious

The quality of dim sum is higher than expected. Presentation is good, you actually want to eat the stuff after looking at it. The taste is good. For example loved the egg tarts. Better than the big dim sum places nearer Flushing (good fortune and its ilk, new mulan, etc, and please don't mention overrated places like Tim ho wan, which no self respecting Cantonese should patronize). The stuff is on the pricey side though!

happy to see my favorite things like taro puffs and shishito fish cakes making rounds. i was surrounded by the pleasant smells of dim sum and people stuffing their faces happily.

Very nice restaurant environment. The food quality is good and the service is efficient! Understandable it is a Chinese restaurant; but it would be nice if the sub menus and promotions were translated in English.
Oscar Leon
The food isn't bad, but I've had certain dishes taste better at places in Manhattan Chinatown. This place is always crowded so expect to wait before you get seated. This place offers private rooms if you prefer to have some privacy and a large selection of alcohol.
Khin Zaw
It's very good restaurant. The quality of the dim sum is above average. But they are very stingy with the chilly sauce. It's difficult to get the sauce. Other than that the rest is OK.
Jennifer Cheng
Very busy. Consistent quality and large selection of dim sum. Prepare to wait for a seat on the weekends!
Joe Giosa
Good service and delicious food
Guolong Lou
The tea was very good. The food was okay, service was poor and over price for dim sum. They never changed our plates even with an order of beef chow fun and pan fried noodles.
Steve M
Really good dim sum. Parking kinda tough. Service really good!

Awesome dim sum. Great quality. Expect long wait.
